When the vehicle was 2 years old, it was parked in a cold dry and dark garage where it sat untouched for 37 years. The interior is original and not sun faded. Fuel system drained and flushed. Cleaned the fuel injectors and new fuel filter installed. Cooling system was drained and flushed. New radiator and heater hoses. New belts, Spark plugs, Valve cover gaskets and rear main seal. Has a new flex plate as the original had a small crack. The transmission external gaskets , seals and filter was replaced. New air filter. Both engine and transmission oil was changed after a 250km drive. The front and rear differential oils were changed as well as the transfer case. Rear hatch glass struts are new. Rear springs were re-arched as the vehicle sat on 1 flat tire for 30 years and once inflated the Blazer did not sit level. Headliner was recovered as it had started to sag. The brake system has been flushed the rear wheel cylinders replaced. New Battery, New wheel center cap decals. The undercarriage and engine bay were both Laser cleaned and then dry ice blasted. The wheel wells and frame were then recoated after the cleaning. The rear axle and springs were repainted after cleaning. New tires, the rims were cleaned and repainted. Paintless dent repair was done on a couple of spots before the whole vehicle had the original black paint polished. One leaky doughnut gasket was replaced. Overall this is almost a new vehicle that rolled off the showroom floor.
